So it might be a little early for this seeing as it isn’t quite Christmas yet, but, looking ahead to the New Year, here is my OAE New Year resolution: I will be a better blogger.
I joined the Education team at the OAE as they launched their most ambitious project date and at the busiest time of the year – when schools go back. Of course I had read the OAE blog and was keen to be a contributor but my fanciful writing ideas were soon quashed in a fantastic hectic frenzy of meetings, workshops, teacher training, venue booking, string club, pre-concert performance, concerts, etc. and now I find myself in December with one blog to my name. And frankly, our project Anthem for a Child which explodes with activity next year is too exciting not to shout from the rooftops about.
5000 children! 10 different settings across the UK! 60 primary schools! 5000 miles to fundraise! So here is my blog commitment, come back in the New Year to check that I stick to it and read about what is going on. Anthem is coming, everyone involved will be singing and playing with the OAE, and I plan to make sure we tell you all about it.
