Anthem for a Child is the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s exciting new education project that is the most ambitious in size, scope and scale to date.  Working across the country in 9 different locations from Devon to York, the OAE will bring a series of teacher training, workshops and concerts to over 5000 children and students of all ages.

The centrepiece of the project is a 9-date Education Concert tour, which kicked off in Plymouth on 19 March. We passed on a baton in sound between our 9 participating towns and cities, and ‘running’ alongside the tour, our musicians and staff have been fundraising to support this ambitious project by cycling, running, swimming, walking or dancing a mile for every participant, in a Musicians’ Marathon.
