A diverse programme of a cappella choral music based on the theme of love makes up the first concert our partner Choir will perform in its own right.

Featuring beloved masterpieces of the English repertoire, including Walton’s Set me as a Seal and William Harris’ motets Faire is the Heaven and Bring Us, O Lord God, the concert will also include Renaissance pieces and beautiful Gregorian chants.

  • I was blown away by the exquisite singing in this concert. Favourites such as ‘Faire is the Heaven’, ‘Set me as a Seal’ and ‘I sat down’ complemented by MacMillan’s stunning ‘O bone Jesu’ and a new (to me) piece by John Barber, ‘Three Song of Songs’ were all sung with such passion, precision and sheer beauty of tone, they took my breath away.
