Songs from the heart with international opera star Magdalena Kožená.

Magdalena Kožená is one of the world’s biggest opera stars. In this rare solo UK appearance, hear her sing some of the music she’s become famous for – sublime opera arias by Mozart and Gluck.

Sweet songs from The Marriage of Figaro meet bittersweet tales from Mozart’s epic swansong, La clemenza di Tito. When your heart’s desire is forbidden by culture and convention, what wins – love or duty?

With Magdalena, we’ll also be performing rare jewels you’re unlikely to hear anywhere else this year, including Haydn’s Scena di Berenice and arias from Gluck’s Paride ed Elena and Il Parnaso Confuso.

It’s all tied together by Mozart’s dramatic, emotive Symphony no. 40. Join us for what is sure to be an exceptional and special occasion.
