The dramatic Orchestral soundtrack that accompanies your heavy drinking is no longer in your head. We begin our national pub crawl in a venue that’s been housing beer swilling music enthusiasts since the likes of The Clash played there in the seventies. In the ultimate break-out from the confines of the concert hall, both the Orchestra and, for the first time, the music we perform, will be putting the pub on a pedestal, with music written by new composer Kate Whitley, alongside selected pieces by Haydn. Plus, in true pub spirit you can drink, clap, chat and no-one’s going to tell you off.
