We’re taking a break from our 30th birthday season at Southbank Centre to pay a visit to the stunning West London Synagogue, just off Edgware Road. Purpose built in the 1860s in the Italian Moorish style, it’s a beautiful, grade II listed building and still a bustling community hub and place of worship.

We’ll be playing a programme to include Mozart’s sparkling flute and harp concerto and Bach’s double violin concerto with star violinist Rachel Podger.

This is a joint fundraising event, with all proceeds going to the West London Synagogue (charity no. 1155821) and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (charity no. 295329).

  • You’re right, they should be listed! It’s Lisa Beznosiuk (flute) and Frances Kelly (harp)

  • And who is the other violin soloist in Bach’s concerto for two violins?
Surely he/she should be named alongside the great Ms Podger!
Sad that we have to point this out…

  • Hi Nicolette,

You’re quite right – small oversight on our part. It’s one of our leaders, Matthew Truscott.
