Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye. After 3 awesome months as the Development Trainee, I am off to pastures new, aka working for a Circus.

I’ve had lots of fun in the office, learning about certain Friday traditions, eating yummy staff picnics at Glyndebourne and discussing our summer music playlist. However, I’ve also learnt loads about the world of Orchestral Fundraising. I’ve been doing lots of research and got involved in meeting players and supporters of the Orchestra and it’s been amazing.

I’ve had lots of highlights from my time but I’ll only name a few: brainstorming as an office for the Night Shift Pub Tour; the Lorraine Hunt Lieberson Tribute Concert in June; and being able to meet some of the nicest people in the world, who take the form of colleagues, musicians and supporters.

I’m glad to say that I made it to The Night Shift at Wilton’s before I left and I was ϋber excited to be there. Thanks to everyone who’s made my traineeship so great. You’re great.
