We're back for the second set now. Lisa's playing tunes resembling bird calls. You can watch it over on YouTube. twitter.com/OAENightShift/…
In the spirit of all things new, we’re branching out to more areas of London in addition to our usual haunts.
First up is Walthamstow, which is getting lots of attention for being the London Borough of Culture for 2019, having an extremely cool neon sign collection and a buzzing pub scene. More locations to follow.
Otherwise this year you can expect more of what you love about the Night Shift: show-stopping performances of pieces by the best composers and other lesser known gems, stories behind the music being performed, and insights on what it’s like to play them.
In support we’ll have more of a diverse roster of support acts, including favourites from last year and some brand new surprises.
Here’s the first wave of events:
Tuesday 26 February – CLF Art Cafe, Peckham
Thursday 28 February – Ye Olde Rose and Crown, Walthamstow
Monday 29 April – The Old Queen’s Head, Islington
Tuesday 25 June – The George Tavern, Whitechapel
