It might come as a surprise to you to find that this concert won't have a conductor. Instead Kati will direct everything from the violin.

Born in Transylvania, Kati moved to Israel aged 15, before moving to London for further studies. In 2008 she became one of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment's four 'leaders' (that's the violinist who sits closest to the audience next to the conductor)

Kati has played on several recordings and also teached at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
