The Works – an antidote to the formal concert – returns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Tuesday 6 November, for a demystifying look at some of the world’s greatest music in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

OAE leader, Margaret Faultless takes the audience on a step by step guide of Mozart’s Symphony No.36, Linz and Horn Concerto No.4, before she and OAE Principal Horn player Roger Montgomery put the music through its paces.

There’s a chance to meet musicians from the Orchestra in the bar afterwards, where the audience can ask questions in a friendly setting.  As the OAE’s Margaret Faultless puts it:

“The Works enables audiences to get inside the music and get more out of the music; there’s lots to enjoy.”
